We have created the following timeline to allow you to see the custom home building process.

  1. Initial Meeting:  During our initial meeting we take the time to listen and find out who you are and how we can best serve you by discussing the basics of your dream homes (ie. Size, Style, Budget)
  2. Home Tour:  We will also set up a time for you to tour previous custom homes built by Freedom Home Group LLC.  We so this to reassure you of our quality craftsmanship and to possibly spark some new ideas for your home.  This is a good time to develop a relationship with a lender.  We are always happy to recommend lenders that have proven to provide quality service in the past.
  3. Design Process:  Upon signing our Professional Service Agreement, we will design your home.  Typically we create a preliminary design and then meet with you to see if everyone is headed in the same direction.  As the design process continues there will be consistent communication via email, telephone and personal meetings until we have completed your approved home design.
  4. Contract/Pricing:  Once we have your approval on a final plan, we will provide you with a contract price to complete the project.
  5. Permits and Financing:  After all of the documents are finalized and have received verification from your lender for financing, we submit the proper information for building permits.
  6. Selections:  Before construction begins, we will set up a meeting to help you choose all of your finishes and design elements.  This includes items such as exterior and interior color schemes, flooring, lighting and plumbing fixtures.  Freedom Home Group LLC has standard features for our homes but you may wish to upgrade.
  7. Construction Process:  Once we have your building permits, lender approval and selections, construction begins!  You will be assigned to one of our Project Managers.  He will be your contact person throughout the building process.  It usually takes 3-6 months to complete your new home once construction begins.  We invite you to visit your future home anytime to see the process.  The best time, however, is at the end of the day or on a weekend when our Trade Contractors are not on site.  Any questions you have should be directed to your Project Manager Monday thru Friday during regular business hours.
  8. Pre-Drywall Checklist:  Once the construction process is ready for drywall, we will set up a meeting with your Project Manager to go over a checklist.  This checklist was designed to make sure that all electrical and plumbing parts are in the correct place.  Once the checklist is completed, we will continue with construction.
  9. Final Walk Thru:  Within one week of your home's completion, we will set up a meeting with your Project Manager to walk through the house.  At this time you will review all workmanship and mechanicals.  We will provide you with a Final Inspection and Acceptance Form to ensure that everything is in order and you are completely satisfied.
  10. Move In:  Once all inspections are completed and complete payment has been made, you are ready to move in!  At closing you will receive your New Home Welcome Packet, which includes color selections, brand names used, warranty information, etc.
